Gardaí in Dublin have launched a murder investigation following the death of a 20 year old man who was assaulted earlier this month.

The investigation comes after the man who was found with serious head injuries on the Old Blessington Road in Tallaght died in hospital as result of his injuries yesterday.
Garai say the young man who was badly beaten was found at approximately 3am on Wednesday 1st November.
They also say they have arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with the attack and he is currently being detained at Tallaght Garda station.
