A number of gardai have received serious complaints made against them via GSOC, the garda ombudsman.
It’s understood that the agency saw records increase by 12% last year over the previous year with the DPP making a number of prosecutions as a result of the their investigations.
It’s not specifically detailed what the complaints were but the DPP says they they prosecuted 13 gardai last year arising from its investigations.
