Gardai have appealed with people to take their time, be calm and try and not cause traffic jams now that some McDonald’s ‘Drive Thru’ outlets have reopened.
The re-opening of a McDonald’s outlet in Dublin on Wednesday led to the formation of mile-long tailbacks this morning.
Crowds began to gather at the fast-food outlet in the Nutgrove area of the capital shortly after it opened for drive-thru orders.
McDonald’s was forced to issue a statement saying that outlets might close again if queues ‘get out of hand.’
