Gardai have asked for any witnesses to come forward in assisting with a serious hit-and-run incident in Ardee, Co. Louth on Sunday morning.
Three people sustained serious injuries after being struck by a car that mounted the pavement in the town of Ardee, just after 1am.
The three people were struck by a Silver Vauxhall Vectra, which was later found abandoned. Their injuries, while serious, are not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardai are asking witnesses to contact Ardee Garda Station on 041-687 1134, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-66-61-11, or any Garda Station.
