Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed that a man aged in his 40s has been arrested following a stabbing incident in Temple Bar in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The man’s arrest comes after a young man aged in his 20s suffered a stab wound during the altercation which occurred at approximately 1:20am this morning.
Gardaí say the victim was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital where he remains with non life threatening injuries.
Meanwhile the man aged in his 40s has been arrested and is currently being detained at Pearse Street Garda Station.
