Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a man aged in his 40s in connection with a number of robberies in the Walkinstown and Greenhills areas of Dublin.
It is understood the man was arrested by Gardai on Thursday evening as part of Operation Thor.
Gardaí say the man is currently being detained at Crumlin garda station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
He is due to appear in court later today.
