Gardai have been forced to allocate permanent patrols around an inner-city housing complex in south Dublin due to ongoing anti-social behavior in the area.
Residents and locals have repeatedly complained of drug usage, intimidation, and other ongoing issues at Pearse House, prompting action from the Gardai.
There are also reports of a teen gang that regularly gathers in the complex’s inner square, and children as young as eight being used as drug runners.
According to residents, the situation has been like that for some time, but it has recently reached ‘breaking point’.
