According to various reports Gardai in Co Cork have arrested a man believed to be in his 50’s in connection with the stabbing of a woman and a teenage girl in Cobh, Co Cork, this morning.
It is believed that both the woman and teenage girl were stabbed in attack which happened at approximately 11am this morning. Gradai say that both victims were quickly taken to Cork University Hospital to be treated for their wounds, but it is thought their injuries are not life-threatening.
The man question was arrested by the Gardai a short time ago and is currently being held at Cobh Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
