Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed a murder investigation is underway after a man was found with gunshot wounds over the weekend.
The victim aged in his 50s, was found at a house on the North Circular Road at approximately 8.30pm on Sunday evening.
The investigation comes Gardaí were unable to find a weapon at the scene, which ruled out a self harming incident.
Gardaí say they are questioning a man and a woman aged in their mid 30s in connection with the incident.
