An investigation has begun into some alleged serious sexual assaults on teenage girls near Sligo.
According to RTE, a house and part of the GAA grounds have been sealed off as crime scenes. The Gardai have asked for anyone with information to come forward, in particular any taxi drivers who may have taken fares on Saturday night. It is thought that the assaults took place between 8pm and 10pm.
Due to the ages of the alleged victims, a child investigator is involved and an incident room has been set up in Sligo.
