Gardai have launched an investigation following a hit-and-run incident in Co. Donegal that resulted in the death of a child.
The incident happened on the Atlantic Way in Bundoran shortly after 9.20pm on Saturday evening.
The deceased, a 9-year-old boy, was pronounced dead a short time later. The vehicle failed to remain at the scene.
