Gardai have once again asked people to be wary of several scams currently doing the round in Ireland, including an Amazon-related scam.
Some people have reported getting unsolicited calls from someone purporting to be from Amazon, claiming that there was a problem with their account and that some personal information and a payment were required to resolve this.
The calls originate from a 094 number. Needless to say, Amazon would never ask for payments or personal information outside their website.
