Gardai have warned women to be extremely vigilant after a woman was attacked in a Dublin park in the last couple of days.
An investigation has been launched after a man attempted to drag a woman into bushes at a Dublin park in recent days.
It is understood that the woman was pushing a buggy along Waterville, Blanchardstown, on April 10 last when she noticed a man following her. The man reportedly waited until she walked near a secluded area before attacking her. The woman struggled and managed to get away.
The victim was left shaken but unharmed. Investigations are ongoing with gardai warning women to be careful in parks, and if possible to try and run and walk in groups.
