Green Party shows their true colour – Tax the poor and increase the dole for their “Artist” friends

As the rest of the Irish community faces more tax for heat and electricity imposed by the Green Party, “artists” will receive enhanced dole money.

Under a new pilot scheme constructed by a Green Party minister, 2,000 artists will get €325 a week for three years as part of a new Government scheme to support musicians, artists and writers in Ireland.

The government call it a “basic income” however as it is funded by Irish taxpayers, it’s not a wage earned by artists, it’s more akin to an enhanced rate of social welfare handout for the governments special interest groups and chosen few.

According to the Sun, applications for the €35-million-a-year scheme will open next week with all qualifying artists to remain anonymous and face no limits on how much they can earn while on the pilot programme.

Green Party Minister Catherine Martin thinks the enhanced handouts to artists is among the best supports offered to artists anywhere in the world.

She “hopes and prays” that the pilot scheme will turn out a success and the €325 can be extended to all artists in the country in the future.
