What a beautiful sight to behold! Christmas has begun… at least in some houses! Whether you like to put your tree up early or not, everyone can agree that the above image is magical and would really put you in the festive mood!
The adage expression is “Once Halloween is over, it’s the start of Christmas” and if it puts a smile on people’s faces, isn’t that all that matters!
With more and more shops starting Christmas immediately after Halloween, we spoke to some people who climb up into the attic and decorate their house in the first week of November, every year.
Dublin woman Bianca Ward told The Liberal that herself and her family simply love the Christmas spirit:
“I just love it every year. I love putting up my Christmas tree, it really puts me in good form and it motivates me to get going for Christmas”.
The friendly and festive lady concluded said:
“IÂ just love the whole Christmas Season. I love Christmas shopping, albeit online this year. The countdown is definitely on!”
Patrick McGahey told The Liberal that this year in particular he’s putting his decorations up early as it’ll brighten people up and get them in the spirit of things.
