Some people keep their spirits up all the way, it seems.
Last year, 90-year-old Norma was diagnosed with cancer a mere two days after her husband of 67 years passed away.
But the brave woman, instead of putting herself through chemotherapy or surgery, chose to go on the trip of a lifetime instead.
Norma’s son and his wife own an RV in which they regularly crisscross America. So, undaunted by her diagnosis, she hitched a ride, along with her pet poodle, Ringo.
So far, they have hit a number of locations across the States, including Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone National Park, the Rocky Mountains, the Grand Canyon and Disney World. And further afield, the inspiring woman and her family have been to Europe, and China, and she even took a ride on a hot air balloon!
