Holidaymakers heading to Spain warned of unusually high temperatures for the time of year, reaching 40C and above in some areas




Holidaymakers heading to Spain this week are being warned of unusually high temperatures for the time of year.

According to local weather forecasts, most of Spain will see averages of 35C, with some areas peaking at 41C or 42C.

Nights will not bring much relief, as temperatures will still remain above 20C at all times.
