Iarnród Éireann has announced its intentions to beef up security at a number of DART stations along the north side of the city, after incidences of criminality in the areas.
The move comes after drivers said that they will not drive trains to northside stations after 7pm during weekends.
Some drivers have gone as far as saying that the areas north of Connolly station are ‘bandit country.’
