We all know that the late Whitney Houston had a powerful voice that was truly a rare gem in the music industry that couldn’t be really be matched by anybody in the past, but now it seems the vocals by the infamous singer have been indeed matched by a 9 year old boy who has taken the internet by storm.
The latest viral sensation Dane Miller from Prosper, Texas, has literally blown the world away in a video that would surely make Ms Houston proud.
Little Dane who has Down syndrome, and is music fanatic has become an internet star in recent weeks after he was filmed by his loving mum Danna and aunt Jeanne performing Houston’s 1993 hit “I Have Nothing”, has since won the world over with his absolutely amazing singing voice.
The heartwarming video which has racked up over 19 million views online in less than a week was uploaded online by Dane’s aunt Jeanne Miller who filmed him during a recent car journey.
Speaking to reporters in the US about Dane and his musical talents a delighted Danna said: “He’s been musical since around two years’ old,”
“He’s been playing the drums. He sings. He loves music. He puts his whole heart into everything he does.”
Whilst Jeanne added: “He is just very vibrant,” “He’s very high-functioning so if he hears music, it’s just something that sticks with him.”
“He’s very proud [of the video],” Jeanne said. “He just smiles and giggles.”
Danna added “He has been probably the biggest blessing of our lives.”
“He is just so loving and joyful. He is what’s good about this world.”
