A pedestrian in his 20s has been pronounced dead following an early morning collision in Lisleton, Kerry, reports breaking News.
Gardai and emergency services were alerted shortly after 2am following a taxi collision on the R553, Ballydonhoe near Ballybunion.
The man’s body was taken to Kerry University Hospital. The taxi driver, a man in his 40s, did not require immediate treatment.
The collision scene was secured for examination by police working with forensics, and the site was cordoned off. The local coroner was notified, reports Breaking News.
Gardai in Listwell are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
