Ireland vs Italy game likely to be CANCELLED due to coronavirus outbreak

Ireland’s next Six Nations match against Italy is in doubt this evening after both the Minister for Health Simon Harris and the HSE recommended that the game be rescheduled due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak in Italy.

According to The Irish Times, the National Public Health Emergency Team has recommended that the game be called off.

Meanwhile the Minister for Health Simon Harris has said that the game which is due to take place on March 7th should not take place due to the number of people travelling to the country.

The Irish Times reports that the IRFU have yet to respond to the decision, but it is believed that they are willing to accept any potential decision.
