Vicky Phelan gave an update to the nation on her cancer treatment in America when she was interviewed on Friday night’s Late Late Show.
She thanked supporters, friends and family for all the prayers, well wishes, notes, emails, posts, likes, comments and shares that the people of Ireland have given her.
Vicky got emotional talking about her children, in particular her son Darragh’s beautiful note showing that he was being strong for her.
She said that her treatment is going well. She said that she was nervous but anxious to get started. Vicky said that she’s fighting on despite multiple new tumours. She’s now getting the best possible treatment in an effort to beat 11 tumours.
The country is behind her and wishes her well.
