Representatives for the Irish Government have said that the so-called ISIS Bride, Lisa Smith, will likely be ‘quizzed’ by Gardai, should she ever set foot in Ireland again.
An investigation into Ms. Smith’s past is currently underway.
Lisa Smith is currently being held in a Syrian camp along with her young daughter.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar previously said that all Irish citizens associated with ISIS would be repatriated, but this has not yet happened.
