The violent thug who raped and murdered Irish woman Jill Meagher has himself been the victim of a violent assault by a fellow prisoner in Barwon Prison in Melbourne.
Adrian Bayley (47) who is serving a 40 year sentence for the heinous crime was attacked and stabbed with a fork.
It’s understood that a fellow prisoner, who is also a convicted murderer, attacked Bayley and the two thugs had a 3 minute fist fight before the stabbing took place and before prison officers were alerted to the melee.
Bayley, who will almost certainly die in prison, stalked and then attacked Jill (29) who was returning home from a Melbourne pub in the early hours of September 22nd, 2012.
Bayley had his sentence increased in 2015 as he has since been convicted on three other accounts of rape. The thug has been threatened before and has been segregated from general population.
