Large crowds gathered on Tuesday night at the National Boxing Stadium to hear speakers, many of whom were Christian religious figures, speak out against the new Social, Political, Health Education curriculum.
The proposed SPHE curriculum for secondary school students in Ireland will teach children about “LGBTQI+” identities such lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex. It will also inculcate Cultural Marxist propaganda about racial and class “privilege”.
One such example in the new SPHE draft curriculum includes advising students to “recognise” their “privileged status” as a “white person, a male, or an Irish person” according to the draft was released this week by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA).
Resistance to so-called “woke” ideology being promulgated in Irish schools however, is growing and the revulsion with cultural Marxist propaganda being pushed by the Irish political and media establishment is spilling into public life more and more.
