London tower inferno: Appeal launched for survivors for spare clothes, toiletries, toys, nappies, food and water

An appeal by emergency services has been launched this morning to help the people dislodged permanently from their home after last night’s horrific fire in Latimer, West London.

Some 200 firefighters fought the blaze with 200 fire trucks from all over London supplying water.

Tragically reports of up to 15 people have lost their lives with 50 remaining in hospital this morning.

The following appeal has been launched with people asked to share it on social media with their friends:
“Grenfell Tower fire – Londoners with spare clothes, food, water, toiletries, toys, nappies etc please drop them to St Clements Church, 95 Sirdar Road, W11 4EQ”
