Ludicrous: Ryanair thrashed by social media users as they say they’ll still require masks for some of its routes, despite mandate being dropped for flights and airports

Social media users have been claiming that Ryanair are losing the plot with their requirements to continue wearing face masks despite them no longer being a requirement in airports or airlines around Europe.

Some people are saying that they’ll purposely avoid flying with Ryanair as a result of the “ludicrous decision”.

Budget airline Ryanair is to maintain mask requirements for some of its routes, despite mandate being dropped for flights and airports.

Many are now puzzled at this bizarre opposition to the dropping of the perma-controversial masks, whose effectiveness was always in question to begin with.

The mask mandate will remain in effect for flights to these countries:

Austria
Cyprus
Czech Republic
Estonia
France
Germany
Greece
Italy
Latvia
Lithuania
Luxemburg
Malta
Netherlands
Portugal
Spain
