The Taoiseach announced that government ministers will take a 10 percent pay cut.
Micheal Martin announced the decision at a Dublin Castle briefing regarding the reopening of schools. He outlined that the cuts apply to all cabinet ministers and ministers for state, as well as himself.
This move comes in the wake of controversy over a pay rise of 16,000 euro to the salaries of new super junior ministers.
