Gardai subsequently arrested a man in connection with the murder of the schoolteacher.
According to RTE, the 31-yr-old man is a foreign national named Jozef Puska and who is a Slovakian national. He remains charged with the murder.
When the man was charged with the murder of Ms. Murphy, Mr. Puska replied “no”. A file remains with the DPP.
The second man who was arrested in connection with the killing was released.
