Met Eireann is forecasting heavy rain and thunderstorms today and tomorrow, with better weather expected on Friday and Saturday.
According to the national forecaster, Wednesday and Thursday will be rather wet and unsettled days weather wise, with the possibility of thunderstorms in the northeast.
Better conditions are expected on Friday and Saturday, with drier weather overall and temperatures of up to 19C.
