Met Eireann is forecasting that summer-like weather will soon come to an end, with rain appearing by Friday night and staying on for most of the coming weekend.
Today, Thursday, will remain mostly dry, with long sunny spells developing by the afternoon, and temperatures reaching 23C at times.
Friday will start off dry, but showers will start developing throughout late afternoon, becoming heavier and longer by evening.
Saturday and Sunday are expected to see a lot of rain, though it will remain very mild and humid throughout.
Early indications show a more unsettled weather pattern next week as low pressure moves in.
