Met Eireann has issued a grim weather forecast for the coming weekend, with plenty rain in store and temperatures sinking back to mid teens.
According to the national forecaster, today, Thursday, will be a mostly dry and bright day, with good and long sunny spells. Temperatures are expected to reach 17C at times.
Friday will start off rather wet, with heavy showers mixed with sunny spells throughout the afternoon.
Saturday and Sunday will be similar, weather wise, with frequent showers and some sunny spells.
The outlook is for unsettled weather to continue into the early part of next week.
