Met Eireann has issued a grim weather forecast for the week, with stormy conditions expected to hit Ireland by Thursday-Friday.
The current spell of miserable weather shows no signs of abating just yet, as thunderstorms are likely to occur tomorrow, Tuesday, along with heavy showers in the afternoon.
Windy weather will develop by Wednesday night and into Thursday, with gales expected along coastal areas.
Friday is currently looking rather awful, with thundery showers likely to develop during the day.
