Met Eireann has issued an updated forecast, saying that temperatures might reach 27C in some western areas over the coming days.
According to the national forecaster, there’s no rain in sight for the foreseeable future, as the weather will remain warm and dry for the remainder of this week and into the Bank Holiday weekend.
The outlook for next week remains uncertain at this point, but hopefully the current trend will continue.
