Met Eireann has just issued an urgent weather warning for six counties.
The Status Yellow weather warning, which covers counties Clare, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, and Sligo, will kick in at 6am on Thursday morning and remain in place until 3pm.
According to Met Eireann, many areas of these counties will experience ‘unseasonably windy’ conditions. Coastal areas will be particularly affected, with very rough seas expected.
