Met Eireann has issued a weather warning ahead of the arrival of miserable conditions in three counties.
The warning, which covers counties Donegal, Leitrim, and Sligo, will be in place from 9am until midnight on Saturday.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience heavy showers, which may lead to localized flooding.
The overall outlook is for dire weather conditions throughout the coming weekend, though it may rain a bit less next week.
