Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for ten counties ahead of miserable conditions arriving later this week.
The warning, which affects counties Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Donegal, and all of Connacht, will be in place until 6am on Saturday.
Many areas around these counties will experience heavy rain, which might lead to localized flooding.
