Met Eireann is today saying that the coming weekend will likely be rather wet, but better conditions to follow next week.
According to the national forecaster, Saturday will remain largely dry, with the best weather expected in the southeast of the country, and likelihood of more unsettled conditions elsewhere. Temperatures will reach 20-21C.
Sunday will fare worse, as persistent rain moves in across southern and western areas. Temperatures again will top 20C.
Warmer weather is forecast from Monday on, with temperatures reaching 25C at times.
