Met Eireann says that today will be a dry and sunny day, with temperatures reaching 26C at times.
Southern and western areas will see the best of the weather, with slightly lower temperatures elsewhere.
The national forecaster is also warning that conditions will take a turn for the worse late on Wednesday, with heavy showers developing overnight.
More unsettled conditions will develop on Thursday and into the weekend, with showers mixed with periods of sunshine and temperatures remaining in the high teens.
