Met Eireann is warning of a big change in the weather for the second half of this week.
The high pressure system that has dominated the weather patterns over the past few days, bringing fine and settled conditions, will soon give way to more unsettled conditions by later today.
Light rain showers will develop across some areas this evening, and temperatures will be noticeably cooler throughout Tuesday and into the second half of the week.
There will be some thundery showers on Thursday, and unsettled conditions are likely to last into the weekend.
