Met Eireann is today warning that severe weather will continue throughout the coming weekend and beyond, but better conditions on the way later this month.
According to the national forecaster, most areas of the country will experience snow, sleet, wind, and rain between now and Monday at least, with daytime temperatures ranging from 1-2C in northern areas to 12-13C further south.
The good news is that more spring-like weather is likely to arrive towards the last week of March, with ‘above-average- temperatures.
