The official death toll arising from the collapse of the Champlain Tower South building in Miami has increased to 78, following the retrieval of 14 more bodies from the rubble.
The building collapsed in the early hours of the morning of June 24th last.
62 people remain missing, presumed dead.
The cause of the disaster remains unclear, but some reports of structural problems going back to 2018 surfaced days after the building came down.
