The Taoiseach is now allowing 25 people attend a wedding or a funeral, contrary to initial reports that only 10 people would be allowed attend a funeral even though 25 would be allowed to attend weddings.
Many felt it was outrageous for only 10 people to be allowed attend a funeral while 15 more could go to a wedding. Mourners far outweighed party-goers in many people’s eyes.
Well it appears that someone saw at least some sense and brought the number up to 25 from 10 for funerals also.
