Middle aged couple accidentally receive 25,000 ecstasy tabs in mail

A couple in their 50’s was accidentally sent almost 25,000 ecstasy pills in the mail after they ordered a pair of dresses from an online retailer in Holland.

When the unnamed Austrian woman (58) received the packages, she found bags of the MDMA containing pills along with the two dresses she had ordered.

She believed the purple pills to be decorative stones but after showing them to her husband (59) he realised they are most likely some kind of drug.

The couple then brought the pills back to their local post office in Linz, Upper Austria.

The post office contacted the police, and pills were identified by the narcotics department of the Linz City Police Command.

It was discovered that the pills were actually intended for an address in Glasgow, Scotland. Police searched the address but found no suspects.
