Met Eireann is forecasting mild temperatures for the coming weekend and beyond, but there will be heavy showers and thunderstorms too.
The outlook is for hot, humid days ahead, with extended periods of rain between Saturday and Tuesday at least.
Saturday will see temperatures of up to 21C at times, with a lot of rain.
Sunday will be even warmer as the thermometer rises to 23C, but there is a risk of very heavy showers and thunderstorms.
The unsettled weather will remain until Tuesday at least.
