Minister for Health Leo Varadkar spoke candidly today when he said that he is ‘sick to death’ of the patients in trolleys crisis in hospitals countrywide.
Mr. Varadkar uttered such truthful words upon his return from a holiday abroad in Florida, and first in his order of business to tackle the issue is ‘all hands on deck’, but he has prophetically warned that the problem will likely get worse before it gets better.
The minister has also assured the public that swift and immediate action is being taken, including measures such as canceling scheduled surgery, opening new beds in wards, and trying to shift people from hospitals and into nursing homes.
