A motorcyclist in his 60s was rushed to hospital after being hit by a van in Bandon, Co. Cork, on Monday evening.
The incident happened at Lauragh, near Bandon, Co Cork, shortly after 10pm last night.
The man was rushed to University Hospital Cork, where he remains in a serious condition.
The driver of the van, a male in his 40s, was not injured.
