In the past week the UK border force have intercepted and transported almost 200 migrants to Dover who were attempting to illegally cross the English Channel to reach Britain.
This comes at a time when the UK is under lockdown conditions to slow the spread of the Covid-19 virus and British citizens are finding themselves being subjected to some of the most Draconian measures ever yet these illegal migrants are being allowed in the UK no questions asked.
Former UK MEP Nigel Farage who was fundamental in bringing about the UK’s exit from the EU took to social media to highlight this glaring hypocrisy saying:
“Illegal migrants in Dover and Hastings yesterday. No-one will be sent back and no-one will be quarantined, yet we are not allowed on the beach to social distance.”
Similar questions have been asked in Ireland where the government have also imposed Orwellian measures on citizens to contain the spread of the Chinese virus, yet planes and ferries full of foreigners are still permitted to land and dock in the country while Irish people are confined to their homes.
While citizens are being detained for visiting the beach and socialising with family members major air travel continues while governments fail to act.
These realities are leading to more and more people questioning the official narrative being promoted by major media outlets about the Covid-19 virus and in response government and tech giants have pledged to clamp down on this free expression of dissension.
