Japanese gaming giant Nintendo has reason to celebrate today, as its second-quarter financial results have turned out to be better than expected.
After a string of loss-making quarters, Nintendo have posted an operating profit of ¥215m (about $2m) for the July-September period. This moderate profit compares favorably with a mammoth ¥18b loss during the same period last year.
On the wake of this piece of positive news, Nintendo have reiterated its forecast for a full-year profit of ¥40b.
