Just as his predecessor did, newly appointed Minister for Transport Shane Ross from the Independent Alliance TD has refused to do his job and intervene in the Luas dispute.
According to him, the issue involves a private company, Transdev, and its staff.
He categorically claimed that he is “not going to be involved in or intervene in” the long running dispute.
Claiming expenses, however, was a matter that fully involved the new minister, as himself -like every single other TD in the new Dáil, bar three- did claim his expenses for the two times they sat in the chamber during the end of February and March.
